If I ride to work, won't I be forever getting soaked?

No. Believe it or not, in an average UK year, if you ride to work daily, you will probably be rained on for 20 days or so. With mudguards, spats and a well designed, breathable waterproof, you will arrive at work probably less wet than had you walked across a car park with just an umbrella to keep you dry!
