What is the correct way to wear a helmet?
A cycle helmet, when correctly fitted, should sit level on the head, not tilted back or forward. It should be snug enough that without the strap fastened, it does not move about on the head, but not so tight as to uncomfortable. Remember that different helmet manufacturers, like shoemakers, use different forms around which they model their wares. Try on plenty of different makers' helmets and pick the one that conforms closest to your head shape. A good retailer will spend time with you to help you to do this.
