We are a voluntary group of local residents of all ages who use bicycles for transport and leisure. We believe that the bicycle has an important role to play in creating a healthier, cleaner and safer environment. Our aim is to further the interests of cyclists and other vulnerable road users in and around Woking. We are affiliated to Woking’s Local Agenda 21 initiative, taking part in one of the most important initiatives to result from the "Earth Summit" held in Rio de Janeiro in 1992.

Since our group was founded in 1994, we have:

Consulted members and the local community
Published a regular newsletter for members
Held regular membership meetings to consult and inform
Contributed to the Woking Cycle Study
Lobbied for improved cycle facilities
Submitted comments for the government’s Integrated Transport Policy
Supported Woking’s Local Agenda 21 initiative
Supported the Bikeathon, National Cycling Week and the Woking Carnival
Devised and published leisure rides around Woking
Run cycle training classes for adults
Run a cycle maintenance class.
